Flow NX2 Snowboard Bindings The Flow NX2 is a high performance binding with a one piece powerstrap also know as a Fusion strap, resulting in maximum power transmission and unparalleled response. The NX2 uses the aluminium chassis for lightweight response on a stiffer platform for hard charging riders who want to go everywhere on the mountain from steep and deep powder to cruising pistes. The NX2 of course comes with all the nice features you come to expect from Flow like locking slap ratchets so you can use as a side entry binding or classic flow reclining highback system. These ratchets lock in place with a click so you can setup your bindings to your boots the not worry about it for the rest of the time and just use the reclining highback. On the NX2 Flow also use their new NASTY (new, active, strap, technology) system so when the highback drops the strap moves forward and out of the way to give a bigger, easier area to put our foot into for faster step in use. The footbeds are canted EVA foam for a nice comfy feel which will absorb shocks and vibrations really well especially when combined with the OC kush layer of silicone plastic which Flow use to sit between the binding and the board. These footbeds are 2.5 degree canted for a more natural stance on your board without stress on the knees. The NX2 is top end and dominates! Key Features: Aluminum Alloy Rockered Baseplate – Lightweight and strong with rockered edges for natural board flex OC-Kush Base and Heel pad – Sits between the binding and the board to reduce vibrations and absorb shock GFN ModBack – Glass reinforced nylon high back and heelcup, responsive with some flex for a more forgiving feel then aluminum ATM.8 SupportPanel – Top highback support with EVA backing, comfy and supportive Active Strap Technology (N.A.S.T.Y) – Moves the straps forward when the highback reclines to give a bigger easier step in system Fusion PowerStrap – One piece I strap for maximum power transfer and

Snowboard Bindings are just as important as your snowboard and snowboard boots. Bindings determine how responsive your board will be. The most important aspect is arguably flex. Snowboard bindings have varying stiffness with softer bindings offering a surfier, more comfortable feel and stiffer ones providing more power and decisiveness. Stiff bindings also give more support during big drops or when hitting kickers. The bindings you buy will determine the level of vibration dampening you will feel. Another thing to consider is the configuration of the bindings. There are a number of different technologies. Make sure the baseplate on your snowboard bindings match the settings on your snowboard. Burton offer EST bindings which don't use a baseplate but rather rails so make sure you buy a snowboard and bindings which are compatible. The last thing is the most fun... the style! There are a lot of different sizes and shapes of highbacks and straps. The snowboard bindings themselves also come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. The best binding brands are Union, Burton, Ride, K2, Rome, Flux, Salomon, Arbor, Now and Flow. If you're after advice on picking the right snowboard then check out our Snowboard Buying Guide.
